Licence Renewal 2026
Licence renewal opens October 1, 2025 and all licences with SCoP must be renewed by December 1 for the following year. Renew by November 1 to be entered to win 1 of 2 VISA gift cards worth $250 each.
Late fees of $275 are applied to any renewals not fully complete by the end of December 1. This includes Practicing and Non-Practicing licences.

Employer payments: if your employer is paying, choose e-transfer option
Renewing a Practicing licence includes:
- Mandatory certifications (CPR – BLS, ITLS, etc) valid at time of renewal
- Personal Liability Insurance from SCoP-approved insurer.
Apply for 2026 insurance > - 20 CE credits (including 2 for mental health, and 10 from NOCP areas 4, 5, 6) this calendar year. More CME info >
- Skills assessments every two years or as required
NEW: Members will be asked to confirm they have read the SCoP Code of Professional Conduct and Standards of Practice >
- Fees $530 for a practicing licence plus $90 for Personal Liability Insurance
- add $100 for a Restriction and more time to submit educational requirements; will not change how you work
- add $275 for late fees after Dec 1
- Non-Practicing licence is $50 plus $90 for Personal Liability Insurance (Apply for 2026 insurance >) and no educational documentation is required

Skills Reporting Forms
Print off the form corresponding to your licence level and have it signed by your assessor. Skills Reporting forms cannot be replaced using certificates of completion; these forms are mandatory for skills reporting.
