Initial Education & Training
The Saskatchewan College of Paramedics is the licensing body for Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), Primary Care Paramedics (PCP), Intermediate Care Paramedics (ICP), Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP), and Critical Care Paramedics (CCP) in the province of Saskatchewan. SCoP does not accept new members at the ICP level.
Apply for your initial licence in order to practice or volunteer as an EMR or paramedic in Saskatchewan, also known as SCoP. Applicants must complete an educational program and pass a licensing exam. Those who have not yet passed a licensing exam may become licensed and practice with a Restriction.

Programs that are not approved
Programs that are not approved can be submitted for an equivalency assessment. The fees for this are as follows:
* International: $950
* ACP: $650
* PCP: $400
* EMR: $300
