The event will feature College updates and business, an Open Forum for Member Questions, and a professional development presentation.
Video and microphone capabilities are not needed for participants. Questions will be asked by typing them into the Q&A area.
Registration is required to attend. 8 Continuing Education (CE) credits from NOCP area 1 will be awarded to those who attend. Individual registration is required for all members to receive CE credits; please do not share devices. Credits will be applied after the meeting by SCoP based on login information.

Maintaining Professional Boundaries
Mitch is a Clinical Coordinator with the Saskatchewan Medical Association. His role is to support the physician, resident, medical student, and their immediate families, whether it be counselling or supporting in finding other professionals to provide support.
This presentation will explore the concept of professional boundaries, why maintaining them is essential across all fields, and the serious consequences of crossing those boundaries—particularly in cases involving sexual inappropriateness.
We’ll discuss the different types of boundaries, the importance of protecting both clients and professionals, and how ethical breaches can impact trust, safety, and professional credibility. Strategies for recognizing warning signs and preventing boundary violations will also be covered.
