Effective immediately, all Medication Facilitated Intubation (MFI) reviews will now be completed by the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA). All completed MFI forms must be sent to SHAEMS.QualityAssurance@saskhealthauthority.ca. SHA forms are available on our website at the link below.
This change is part of an ongoing effort to streamline processes and ensure consistent oversight and support for clinical procedures. Concerns regarding competence will be reported to the College for additional review. Paramedics can expect further communication from the SHA regarding documentation, submission requirements, and review timelines.
