In consideration of COVID-19 planning and a need to minimize social interaction, the physical office of the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP) is closed to walk-in traffic.
During this time all licensing and essential services will continue to operate as previous. Emails, telephone calls, and online forms will be managed remotely by staff and will function as normal.
The SCoP website at www.collegeofparamedics.sk.ca is a good point of reference for current information regarding licensing, frequently asked questions, and pandemic planning updates.

The Saskatchewan College of Paramedics has been carefully monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, Ministry of Health and the Public Health Agency of Canada.
SCoP supports all its members in following the guidelines for treatment modifications as set out by the SHA in managing their patients at this time. We recognize that Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) and Paramedics may have limitations placed on them during this pandemic, these processes are created from best practices in managing a pandemic and reducing the spread of the illness. While no EMR or Paramedic can work beyond their scope of practice, limitations or modifications can be implemented by an employer. Members should follow the recommendations developed by the SHA.
As EMRs and Paramedics have important roles both within and outside the SHA, it is important that all levels of paramedics have access to and use the same supporting documentation to ensure consistency of information.
