The Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP) has developed a scope of practice guide to provide Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) and paramedics information to outline the fundamental principles, standards and guidelines which are foundational to scope of practice. Our mission is to protect and serve the public interest through regulatory oversight of the paramedic profession. Our vision is to collaboratively build a profession that is a continually engaged partner, and fully utilized in a patient-centered health care system.
The SCoP office is located on Treaty 4 territory, which is the traditional territory of the Nêhiyawak, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, Nakota, and the homeland of the Métis/Michif Nation. It is important to recognize that we all have benefits and responsibilities under these agreements.
