The 2020 Annual General Meeting was held online on Monday, May 4, 2020. The event was a live Q & A with SCoP Council, staff, and representatives of the provincial government. Election results were also announced
Based on recent outbreak events in the North, the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has decided to pro-actively hire as many individuals who are eligible for licensure as possible.
SHA would like to start hiring immediately.
The 2019 Saskatchewan College of Paramedics annual report is now available. Thank you to everyone who contributes to this remarkable profession!
The Saskatchewan College of Paramedics is now able to issue Pandemic Emergency Licences to former members of the College who want to help during the COVID-19 pandemic. To expedite issuance of these licences, the College has defined criteria under which previous members can become re-licensed.
Highlights from the February SCoP Council meeting are now available. These minutes were approved at the April Council meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2020.
The Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP) is aware that multiple training sessions and certification classes have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As there is no way to adequately determine when the COVID-19 pandemic will end, we anticipate that some members may be unable to fully meet licence renewal and/or outstanding restriction requirements.

The April 20, 2020 Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) exam has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the need for social distancing increases and schools and businesses close, we cannot offer the exam in an environment that allows for the safety and well-being of those involved with writing or invigilating the exam.
