Amendments to Regulatory Bylaws
On June 4, 2010 the Minister of Health published his approval of amendments to The Regulatory Bylaws Pursuant to the Paramedics Act. These amendments were first proposed at the SCoP 2009 AGM in Kenaston and then were the subject of consultation both by SCoP and by the Ministry with key stakeholders.

Qualifications Survey
This spring SCoP is conducting a survey of member qualifications, both Initial Training and training in Optional Protocols. For more information, please read the following letter. Download>
Your survey will be mailed to you or, if requested by your coordinator, mailed to your Agency. Each member is required to complete and return the survey by May 15, 2010.

Major Initiative for the Profession of Paramedicine
Today the federal government announced $1.2 Million in funding for a two year project to assist paramedic regulators in Canada to, among other things, develop interprovincial exams for entry to practice at the PCP and ACP levels. More >
